GILBERT, AZ - A Mesa woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly chased her husband around a Gilbert parking lot in an SUV during an argument over the presidential election.


The woman finally ran over her husband, leaving him with critical injuries.
According to a Gilbert police report, the argument started over her husband's lack of voter participation in the recent election.


Holly Solomon, 28, apparently believed her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Barack Obama's re-election.
Solomon's husband, Daniel Solomon, told police his wife "just hated Obama" and was very angry he was re-elected and blamed the President for problems her family is going through.


Keep in mind that this happened 4 days after the election. The Arizona results were already known.



In Arizona the election ran


Romney - 1,139,060 54.2%
Obama - 927,600 44.1%


Whether Daniel voted or not, regardless of who he may have chosen to vote for, would not have altered the outcome that was already known.


I am thinking that Holly has some other issues than the election outcome. :doh:

Maybe if she spent more time in the kitchen, and alot more time doing as her husband tells her to, she woulda have been fine. I bet she loved Obama secretly, since he is all that ills this world, and everything is his fault!

A "healthy" sexual relationship does not insure that the partners have a healthy relationship in other respects.Hell for all we know the Solomans might have screwed 20 times a day.I think more than likely the wife was mad about something else and just flipped out and that was the excuse that she gave for running over her husband.

Maybe Mr.Soloman is an extreme masochist and really likes pain so he wanted to get run over by his wife.It fits perfectly really tick her off and suffer real pain.He should have voted for the socialist party she'd have really put him in the ringer for that.

This cant be the first domestic incident between the two I bet that Mr. Soloman has been whacked by a few frying pans in his day.A friend of mine his x-wife threw a butcher knife at him once.Mr. Soloman sounds like he was too nice to an abusive woman he should have cut his losses.

The neighbor they spoke with looks like he just got interrupted celebrating the new marijuana law in Colorado.

I wonder was the SUV a Jeep perhaps the lady wanted to run over a commie with one of the last non-Chinese Jeeps.

I cant help but wonder will he be covered by Geico?:hmmm:

And maybe Allstate will have an add now where Mr.Mayhem gets run over by an angry woman.
