View Full Version : SH5 my savegames don't load

Hi there,

My savegames don't load up. I tried with and without mods enabled.I also re-installed the game 2 times.I am playing version 1.2.
The savegame loads, then i can see the graphics show up again after loading and i hear the sound. But 2-3 seconds later the game freezes and i have to quit.
I couldn't find an answer to my problems using the search function of the forum. So your help would be very nice.
I just re-installed the game after stopping to play for 1 year.And last time the game was installed on my pc i had no problems...

I would suggest to just start a new career.

well it is a new career. It doesn't matter if a play the tutorial or not. If i save in harbour or not. Every time i load the savegame and the graphic and sound comes up, 2-3 seconds later the game freezes.

I started various test careers and saved at different points and times. It doesn't matter, i get the same problem.

have you saved in bunker, before leaving for patrol?

Yes i saved in the bunker before patrol.

So, even if right after you start new career and it loads into the bunker you will save and than load that save it still crashes, correct?

Well, if the save in the bunker also causes crash, unfortunately I'm out of ideas, sorry. :doh:

Hopefully someone will be able to assist you...
