Brest

The orders I have received at Wilhelmshaven are to go to grid NULL,no orders to engage the enemy or any time period ,but to arrive at Brest,I presume my operational orders are at Brest but the trouble is Brest is NOT on my map.Has the Wehrmacht no yet captured the port or am I to hug the French coast till I find it ? Any Commanders had the same problem ? Been refitted at W/shaven so a few,s gonna be sent tet bottom while I,m searchin .:hmmm:

hmmm you cant find brest? well i suggest you look under braa :D hmmm i have missed being transferred to france before which was annoying but i never lost the port lmao. i suggest that you just exit patrol. it should take you straight to your base even when changing

Try searching for NULL (in the forums) I forget the exact root of this problem, but i know we've had numerous numerous threads on this.

Thanks for the tips Kaleuns , will go out and hang around the English Channel ,get some tonnage under my belt then try clickin End Patrol , this Null problem hits a few us an different Skippers had different methods of dealin with it so will let you know what happens , Lookin under Braa s for Brest was one of my favourite pastimes before I was Wed now it could cause problems .:D

Brest doesn't become an active base until June 41 so depending on what your current game date is I'd probably hit the Esc key at the end of my patrol and hyper back to the base the game sends you to and hopefully all will be well at the commencement of your next patrol.

I returned to Wilhelmshavn hoping it would change my ops area , I could get to the crew depot but not to the U-boat upgrades.went on two more missions with Null areas hopin it ,ill change but that was not the case ,could,nt open the bow doors to flood the tubes was another aspect of this problem,read a lot of th threads but alas still in this time warp.U-51 will cease operations until I can find a solution , and in the meantime will start a new career .
