Dear mates:

I see the video published in YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA4bascDwvE&feature=related

Awesome (and edited, of course), but I read about the machine running the game:

"Core i5 860 @ 3,8 Ghz, an ATI HD4870 and 6GB of 1333Mhz RAM, but***65279; the game will run on slower comps as well"

I have a Core i5 @2.90 Mhz, Nvidia GeForce GT520 1 GB, 8 Gb RAM, and SH5 run well in vanilla form, but with Opus Magnum mod, I have (average), 15-17 FPS maximum. I donīt use all the candy graphic options (example: without 3D clouds), and I have 4 Gb patch and antilag.

The low FPS is the main reason because I donīt play SH5.

Is there some tweak, addon, patch or magic to make run SH5 smoothly???

Many thanks in advance.

1) remove MO. Too outdated, many things have been fixed since then. Try Sober's mod list or MMM.
2) Don't use 4gb switch as it actually reverses the effect. It has been figured out that SH5.exe can use more than 2GB memory out of the box already, so using 4gb switch just turns it off...
3) what's your antilag configuration?

I use d3d antilag, the config:

; D3D9 antilag config file
; by Kegetys <http://www.kegetys.net>

; RenderAheadLimit: Limit how many frames ahead are rendered to reduce input lag. 0 to disable.
; FPSlimit: Limit framerate for smoother gameplay and reduced cpu/gpu use. 0 to disable.

[config]
RenderAheadLimit=2
FPSlimit=25

Iīll try with those mods.

Many thanks for the answer!

I've had no problems with FPS with my 8800GT 1GB card set at it's native resolution of 1920x1080. No anti lag mod used either.

Running the 296.10 NVidea drivers.

Monitor is a 23" widescreen Hannspree.

Many thanks for all the answers.:up:

Iīm working with Nvidia Inspector and searching the best setup for the AA. I set "Override application...", but it seems the game not consider that setting: I can set the AA with the game slider, but the settings via Inspector not modify the AA in game. Is it true? Can we set "Override..." in AA in Inspector and set the AA? Itīs seems not...

Without AA via game (and graphics horrendous), I obtain 29 FPS. But with only a point in the AA slider, my FPS down to 10 FPS. Frustrating...

Best regards.
