Now maybe I am getting really senile in my old age but if I recall correctly it wasn't TWA, it wasn't departing NY and it didn't crash in the Atlantic.
Maybe I am thinking of a different Lockerbie though.:hmmm:

Wrong 747. The one in the video went into the ocean somewhere off Long Island in 1996. There was some speculation of an errant Navy missile being the cause but that was never proven.

Apart from that ^, all other details are right :D - ok wrong flight, sorry all.
This is about an alleged missile attack on another 747, but was not - nothing to do with Lockerbie.
