Hi all,i dont have money to afford new gpu,my gma 3100 cannot play silent hunter 3 and im very sad,so does any guys of you have a spare pci x16 gpu for me?
I live in Croatia,poor country,cant afford new gpu :((

Well ... GMA X3100 Graphics are integrated graphics in a laptop, and it will be hard to replace it with a new card, unless your laptop has the possibility, perhaps it may be so that you can increase the RAM to increase the GPU, then in most cases share the RAM in your computer.

But the GMA3100 is a desktop mobo chip. You could pick up a decent-enough-for-SH3 card second-hand from the likes of ebay, if nobody here has one lying around gathering dust.

What about RAM, do you need more of that as well, I may - or may not - be able to help here.

Hi its not a laptop,its a desktop computer with onboard g31/33 intel gma 3100(not x)

I have cpu:
Intel celeron dual core e1500 2.2 GHZ

RAM:2gb

Motherboard:ASUS P5KPL-AM IN/ROEM/SI
It has pci x16 slot and 2x pci slots.

PSU:300 watt(no brand) bad PSU.

Like somebody said before your problem is lack of Ram...
Usualy you need 2Gb only for operative sistem and another 2Gb to help de cpu when the sistem is processing heavy programs like games in 3D as Sh3 specialy if want to use the Gwx 3.0 Gold mod.

My problem is not lack of RAM as i tried play stock Silent Hunter 3 without any mods and lags like hell,so it is graphic card problem.

Yeah 2 GB ram isn't a problem for SH3, its the ability to render the graphics from the integrated GPU that leeches from the ram no less.
