German edition of Der Spiegel reports that Mozilla has pulled back the recent release of Firefox 16.

Those of you who already downloaded it, be informed that it is infested with a high risk security breach.
Main advantage of version 16 should have been that the excessive hunger for memory, and stress on system resources should have been somewhat tamed. Beside security breaches I suffered, the enormous workload on the system resources was what has driven me away from the early versions of Firefox long time ago.
To me this is just another indication that the once messianic reputation of Firefox has meanwhile faded. Welcome in the ordinary browser world, Firefox.
