Is there a way to turn off the red filter on the attack periscope? I can't see anything at night time.

Yes there is, the red overlay is actually a TGA and a menu entry. Commenting out with ";" the position line of that entry should suffice to do the trick, but don't ask me where it is in the menu.ini because I don't have currently SH3 installed :oops:

I think I fixed it.

There must have been a conflict with my other mods because I reinstalled them and it seemed to clear up. I've got so many running its hard to keep track.

I don't use the gold version of OLC's Gui, but I'm very surprised that the red mask is still used in it, since he deleted it from his earlier Gui v1.2.7.
Looks like you've had a mod overwriting it.

To move the redmask.
You'll find the menu_1024_768.ini in the folder Data/Menu. Open it up in notebook and search in edit for redmask, then put a ; before the line. Everything in a line is ignored after a ;
The redmask is very near the beginning of each of the periscope sections.

Make sure you back up the file first.
