My only arguement against these wackos is thus:
Show me one corroborating source or any peer review, and I'll accept it as a valid theory. Just submit this to the scientific method and we'll talk.
Yes, I'm asking somebody to peer review god.
Good luck finding a peer.
I refuse to let morons like this govern me.

He sits on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.

I predict that this will not hurt the Congressman's chances one whit.

If you disagree with anyone are they considered a moron? The beauty of the voting system is your right to vote for someone you agree with. You have the right to not vote at all. Either way, people believe different truths.

Don't you know the definitions? That is precisely the definition of a moron.
And a genius is someone who agrees with you. :O:
That said, the guy IS a moron. His beliefs are stupid, baseless and irresponsible - more than that, they're incompatible with the office he holds and perhaps reflect an even more disturbing tendency among those who elected him.
There, I said it. And I say that as someone with Christian beliefs and no particular love of strictly positivist science, too.

I love the comment from the Physics professor at the end, he's failed more Pre-Med students then Pre-Law.

Just because someone has the right to think the Earth is flat doesn't mean he isn't a moron-or say who thinks gravity or movement is an illusion. Go ahead and step off the 82 floor window-or run onto a busy freeway. :88)
