Hi,
I'm a Kriegsmarine carthography private collector.
On my site: www.kartengruppe.it (http://www.kartengruppe.it) time to time I post the new items of my collection: maps, books, atlases, catalogues and so on.

Occasionally I post on the Download Area (http://www.kartengruppe.it/index.php/download) the link of the scan/Hq photos of some of them.

This month I updated a 1941 Kriegsmarine atlas you may download as a free pdf updated on mediafire.

It is the Nautical book n. 2310-4 called "Atlas der Bodenbeschaffenheit Meeres. 4.Lieferung: Südliche Ostsee" (Atlas of marine soil. 4th Delivery: Southern Baltic Sea). Hi,
I'm a Kriegsmarine carthography private collector.
I dont' know if it is a good job. To continue it, I need your feeds!

The setting/locations covers most of the first SH5 mission. So its a fantastic addon.

The sharpness is judged to be satisfactory to very good.

... but note the KM quadratkarten on "maps reworked" are under S.Statharos copyright. I think they aren't free for use

D.Adm.0355 and D.Adm.0406 are new to me.

D.Adm.0355's setting is the famous Strait of Malacca, dangerous waters in every respect.

Both charts have excellent quality.

Come avrete capito non sono molto addentrato nel gioco. Sono un "collezionista puro" ed essendo il settore molto di nicchia (io stesso ho difficoltà a reperire informazioni), alcuni conoscenti mi hanno chiesto un contributo. E' questo quello che sto cercando di fare. Chiedo solo di esser citato.

Non credo ci siano problemi, sempre se per mod si intendano modifiche non commerciali. Anche perché il diritto d'autore varia tra paese e paese e per esser sicuri di non incorrere in contenziosi bisognerebbe aspettare i famosi 70 anni dalla morte dell'autore. Si parla qui, però, di una struttura militare sciolta, la KM tedesca... per cui non son sicuro di nulla.

Chart of the coasts of Biscaya were new. The rest were already known.
Unfortunately the sharpness of the Biscaya-map are not the best.

The geoGrief website has some good charts. http://greif.uni-greifswald.de/geogreif/?map=theme&map_them=51 You can search by theme, seekarte, or by name such as Kiel which has maps under historische seekarten.
