have downloaded sh5 through steam and it runs ok(my video card is weak). my question is how do i download and install mods. have downloaded several but will not open(php. file will not open) Already
have jonessoft mod enabler from il2 1946.also will sh4 run on windows 7.

www.7-zip.org (http://www.7-zip.org) will open almost any zipped file, though I'm not sure about .php.

Yes, SH4 will run on Windows 7, as will SH3.

If the files you're downloading end in ".php" it sounds like you are downloading a link or web-page rather than the file you desire.
Exactly what steps are you taking when downloading?
