He means he doesn't want to play with mods and he got through the war.
Im sad we will be losing a member, good luck on all your endavours:wah::salute:
Well I took a long break from this forum because I had stopped playing SH3 and Destroyer Command and had some real life work issues that I sorted out fine.
Once I returned to SH3 I returned to the forum.
As others said. there are other great games listed in subsim that needs investigating and so I figure I have my remaining time on this planet fairly well mapped out.
If I do not post for 100 years after my last posted comment, please assume I was lost on patrol and delete my account.

Ditto. Hard to do with what all of our great modders have brought to the game.

So sad when people want leave :wah:
So sad when people want leave :wah:
Maybe not so much cause he left, in the time I have been here so have hundreds of others left. The site still goes on and new folks sign on all the time.
What I think is sad is he did not apparently enjoy all the game can offer with the supermods. I doubt he made it through the war with GWX at 90%+ realism.
Moving on.:salute:
I took a long break to...then came back. Even if I don't have anything newer than sh3 and 4 I do play other games - flight and tank sims and like the folks here, well most of them. ;) Anyway adios was fun not knowing you. :)

I'd rather people did tell us when leaving, just disappearing is quite rude and sometimes worrying.

Are you worried about the 70,000+ members who have left, or never posted at all? I'm not.
I say if someone wants to go, just go. Having the account sit there doesn't hurt anything.

It is not like keeping an account incurs a significant cost.
I took a break from this site for about a year (got pissed off about GT). No one probably noticed. :D
I came back. A lot of people take breaks. There are some that should take breaks too. :D
I don't really see the point of publicly closing an account. If people have particular friends here, they can always PM them to let them know.
This site has many many "members" that never post. Looking at the numbers, the vast majority never post. And that's OK.
So the the OP, take a break. May be later you might want to come back or maybe not. Either way, there is no advantage of closing your account.
