He didnt retire. He is running for president in Locked On. Jack Jr. is just a bigger part of the story. He joined Clark and Chavez at the Campus. And Ed Kealty is still an ass.

Not a whole lot different from earlier books.

I agree, some of the "magic" is gone since there is another author's name on the front. But, the series is in no way ruined.

Red Storm Rising and HFRO were his best, though IMHO. That was his high water mark. :yep:

His universe is like metal gear, or final fantasy. There is no coherent narrative anymore. Just start over

I read the description for Threat Vector and it has the name Jack Ryan in it.

Either way, Clancy is my favorite author and I have yet to be convinced otherwise. :rock:
