I'm a new cadet here so hello to everyone.
I'm very new to subsims having bought SH3 recently after reviewing a lot of sim games. I'm a chess and Go player and also have an interest in WW2. In the past i've had some fun with games like Gary grigsby's War on the eastern front but my interest waned after a few weeks - usually I get tired of micromanagement aspects.
I'm very impressed with SM3 (only 2 patrols so far) and i really like the open ended aspect as well as the realism. I have managed to find GWX and have that installed. To have the sim as close as possible to the 'real' situation is important to me.
In searching through the forums gathering information I saw that SH4 Gold is on sale at GetGames ($19.95) and I have just bought it and i am DL it now. I will add TMO and RSRDC. This looks like a good price and even if i don't come to it for a little while it is nice to know I have more possibilities outside SH3.
All for now
bye
