help with installing mods

greetings all. I realize this has probably been discussed thoroughly before, but I've not played sh3 since before the greywolves mod was even concieved. I've just reinstalled the game on my ms7 notebook and want to add the mods but there's so many that I dont know where to start!
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find the jsgme file (a lot of dead links) so I downloaded the GWX mod from the grey wolves.
I am stoked!. considering I've been back to playing CAOD for the last year I was surprised at the learning curve.
this game is way more involved than I remember. . . this ain't AOD!

GWX 3 comes with an older version of JSGME so you would want to use the link Sailor Steve provided to update it.
