I liked much SH 3, but in SH 5 my hydrophone wont work, so I can search a contact by myself. Is there any fix for that?

If you using DVD-version (not steam) it's unofficial patch 1.3 for SHV - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181433
