Hi. I am in the options, I am setting CO2 to limited and battery to limited and oxygen to limited and I also disable external view. But When I start a new campaign, all these options are reset again to default. I cant get my option settings to take effect when I start a new campaign. How do I do that? :wah:

And I also have a problem with script runtime error when I press the SNORKEL or PERISCOPE buttons on the left side, it quits instantly with script error.

Have I installed my mods in the correct order?

When you started a new campaign you should change your options in the bunker and save game.. then load that save and you will see your new options..

I get this c++ runtime error every time I try to go to periscope, snorkel depth or use any of the dive buttons, or keyboard shortcuts. I wonder why, Do I need to reinstall an older version of C++ runtimes?

Try to delete Visual C++ 2010 if you have it..

EDIT: someone else had a similar issue with C++ 2010..

I uninstalled 2010 and rebooted, it still gives me that instantly when i try to use dive controls either by mouse click or by hotkey. The same runtime error.

I have VC 2005 and VC 2008 left. Should I get rid of any of them too?

Don't know..
Here is another solution - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1916852&postcount=23
EDIT: I myself removed all except C++ 2008 9.0.30729.6161

I too removed everything right now, except the exact same one you kept. It still gives me the runtime error.

I wonder if any of my mods are installed in bad order. You can see the order in the screenshot further down below here.

I found the bottle neck after a ton of test and failing. I uninstalled all runtimes, reinstalled them. Reinstalled sh5, reinstalled all mods individually to see which mod caused the runtime failure. And it ended up that the mod MCCD_1.04 (More crew commands) caused the failure. If I remove it, everything works again.

That makes me sad because I darned liked the extra crew commands. I really really REALLY want it in my game. Can anyone guide me how to have it work again?

NEVER Mind, I solved it. Finally, it works beautifully. I installed the compatible version of MCCD for Mighty Fine Crew, but I have not installed Mighty Fine Crew so I should be using the other version. So I uninstalled the compatible version and reinstalled the default version.
