Silent Hunter 5 patch question

I found a copy of SH5 that I apparently bought and forgot about, so I uninstalled my Steam version and am going to give the Disk copy a crack.

My question is what is the latest patch for the SH5 game? The only one I could find is a 64.9mb V1.1 patch one.

Which leads to my questions:

1.) Does someone have a link they could provide me with the different patches for the SH5 game.

2.) If there are more then one patch, do I have to install each patch, or do I have to just install the last patch?

3.) Where should I install my SH5 game folder? I've read that I shouldn't install it to my C:/Program files (x86). Perhaps I should go C:/SH5 folder?

Run TDW's patcher, open one of patch files (so far there are 3 of them, each with different patches inside), enter the path to your SH5.exe, and enable any patch you want by double clicking on its "Enabled" property. The exe/act files will be modified subsequently. That's all: patches are not cumulative, and you don't need to use JSGME for enabling them.

3.) Where should I install my SH5 game folder? I've read that I shouldn't install it to my C:/Program files (x86). Perhaps I should go C:/SH5 folder?

Everywhere but in /Program files or /Program files (x86) folders

OPS... volodya anticipated me. Well two answers is better than no answer at all!
As suggested by Volodya himself, don't forget to patch the game with Ubi patch before running TDW's patcher :up:

Ok, got it to work and even installed the Magnum_Opus mod. Question though, how the heck to I get the crew to clear the deck so I can dive? I thought they automatically went below when I pushed the crash dive, or dive button.

The crew goes automatically, it's your character (the commander) who you have to take down the conning tower hatch before you are able to dive! :up:

I feel like an idiot. It never occurred to me I could just walk over to the hatch and climb down it. Thanks...

Sorry for dumb question but now I'm really confused.

There seems to be 2 official patches 1.1 (1.1.5 from march 2010) and another one 1.2 (1.02 from may 2010). I've just finished installing the game and at the upper right corner it states 1.05.

Does it mean I 've got the most recent version available? If not what is the correct order in which I have to install them?

No, current version is 1.2; your game is not updated yet.

Installing the patch v1.2 is just enough, but since the autoupdater doesn't work, it has be done manually.
