Sorry about all that ^^ Just thought I'd make an exciting opener to this thread. I looked around and I couldn't find anything like this, so I thought lets start a thread about the things you've just seen or been to. Concerts, festivals, operas, movies, what have you.
I personally got home after spending a couple of days in Gothenburg, Sweden, to watch Bruce Springsteen and ESB on Friday and Saturday night.
The verdict? Well, the Friday show: Fantastic! Great fun, was right up there at the front, managed to snap this horrid quality pic with my phone:

Played loads of great songs that I've always wanted to hear live, including Rosalita! :D
What about the Saturday show? Well it was just about the best thing I've ever seen in my entire life. A great example of just how intense and well played everything was, is the fact that I broke down in tears just a couple of seconds into the great song "Backstreets". I've never ever found myself in tears after listening to music, but this night I couldn't hold it in for some reason...and it happened again, right at the end, when they brought up...Jungleland. I never thought they'd play it ever again since Clarence is gone. But Jake Clemons did good. Hell I'd say he did great.
Both shows were aprox. 3 hours and 40 minutes long (not bad for a bunch of sixty year olds!) and contained about 31 songs! The more I think about it, the more bizarre does it get. It really is incredible the way Bruce runs around on stage, jumping, climbing, howling, dancing and not the least, ROCKING! :D
If you get the chance to see them in the near future, I strongly recommend that you take it. A former classmate of mine was there yesterday, she's not really a fan of the Boss, but she had to admit that the concert was pretty damn awesome. These were the fith and sixth concerts I've seen with the Boss, and I don't think he and the band has been in better shape during the last 8 years or so. I very much doubt that there are any better live performers alive today. 10/10 without a doubt.
Here's a vid. for you all! :D
