Tonight the Russian Space Agency will be launching a Soyuz rocket with three astro/cosmonauts on board to the International Space Station. If anyone wants to watch the launch live, you can go to NASA TV's free broadcast. The launch is scheduled for 22:40EST.

It's certainly nice to see international space cooperation still going strong.

Hard to believe that the ISS has been manned for almost 12 years already.

Yeah, it's also incredible that Soyuz has been operating in its many iterations for 40 years!

Around 30 minutes to launch.

Update:The launch was successful and the astro/cosmonauts are now safely in orboit. They will dock to the ISS on Tuesday at 00:52EST.
