Hello captains!
I played long hours of SH3 + supermods several years ago. I avoided SH5 on release because of bad reviews, but now I see the DRM has been lifted, it's only 15€ on Steam and there's a lot of mods available.
On the other hand SH3 is only 5€ and I see there's a really interesting "unofficial" patch and still as many mods.
SH5 graphics are more appealing of course but I wonder if it is mature enough? Gameplay wise is it up to par for an experienced SH player, especially regarding AI and manual targetting?

you can get it on disk for that price, disk is always better (way too many issues with download games)

always avoid downloads if you can

the game is comming along fine now but there is still a long way to go but its getting close. in about a year i m guessing we will see some finished super mods showing up for it and people will be modding more for taste rather then still fixing things. as it stands, with enough mods, its a very enjoyable game.

Steam will prevent you from patching the .exe, which is fast becoming essential. An on-disc version will be cheaper, anyway.:salute:
