The search warrants used by police to raid the New Zealand home of Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom have been ruled illegal. In addition, the data that was sent to the FBI was ruled to be unlawfully obtained. The decision by the High Court is the latest in a series of setbacks for prosecutors on both sides of the Pacific. Could this be the beginning of the end for the Megaupload trial?

Kimdotcom is getting a huge following over here. Hes a likeable chap. When he was busted kiwis were 50/50 for and against but months later its more like 80% for support of him and 20 against now.

Hes on our news, hes in our tv ads hes you tubing songs about our ministers who were once his friend when he was giving out donations for their campaign but dropped him like a stone when he got busted. What so bad about that he was busted for (trumped up) copyright charges, yea but the minister never declared the loan something all ministers must do, and he tried to deny kimdotcom gave him the loan! Bad move for a minister. Minister goes on TV - I have never met kimdotcom, few days later - oh i might of met him but not for more than 10 minutes and i have never received any money from him, couple of weeks later people come forward to say they were in the room when he accepted 50k from kim. :haha:. Minister has stayed low ever since... The plot thickens. Not only that but Kim has donated thousands to our city Auckland ($600,000) and last week Apples Steve Wozniak came to Kim's party he was having at his mansion. Even Apple backs him.

Power to Kim!
