too much, even if it's easily accessable to those not familiar with the genre,
we're talking about such a niche genre that non-subsimmers might simply not
be interested in the game no matter the learning curve.

Just finished my survey. I suggested to them that they make the level of realism customizable and then restrict online play to those with the same level of realism to keep everything balanced. I have a feeling all of us would be in the same bracket.

I suggested them to include both player controlled destroyers and submarines, to make multiplayer surface/submerged duels possible. Without it the game will be just torpedo shooter to AI targets.
