Reading some post a while ago I saw a screenshot of Hitman's Kriegsmarine whizzwheel that could be used in SH3 as a slideout. I can't find the mod nor the screenshot anymore, stupid me. Does anyone know what mod do I need?

(I now have a cardboard whizzwheel and was starting to wonder would it be easier to use one modded straigth to the game)

I am not an expert on SH3, but I know if you install another GUI for example MaGui Final it has the wheel included.
Check this : http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=166320

I am sure there are other GUI mods who also have the wheel.
On Youtube there is lots of Let's Play video's with the OLC Gold mod.

You have to pick the one you like most.

Kind Regards, Marcel

Thanks a lot! Not only does MaGUI have the whizz wheel, but it also looks absolutely stunning :D:rock: I'll have to try and see if I get it working on my computer.

All the GUI mods borrow from the original U-Jagd Tools by joegrundman. His version doesn't change anything in the interface, just adds the tools.

U-Jagd Tools looks worth a try as well, but it seems joegrundmans filefront links don't work anymore. I think I'll try MaGui and if it works and I like it, I'll stick to that.

Did you not notice the link I put in direct to my Mediafire page?

I did notice the link, but clicking it only gave me the main page of Mediafire. Would I need to log in there or is there something wrong with the link?

You're right, and I apologize.

When I click on it I go straight to the files, but it seems Mediafire put them into cloud storage and nobody gets there but me. I can't seem to upload them to Subsim, for whatever reasons.

Anyway, here's another try, this time at RapidShare.

Thanks a lot! :salute:

I'm now downloading and planning on using U-Jagd tools if Magui is not working with my computer. I had a CTD in the midst of playing after I installed Magui.

This combimod has U-Jagd Tools in it. You'll probably be able to mod just the tools in if you prefer that:

If not, Sailor Steve might have the tools somewhere ready to download.

I think I still have U-Jagd tools somewhere on my home computer, so I can upload them for you if need be. It's a nice addition to the game and relatively easy to learn how to use. Most GUI mods have U-Jagd Tools modded in.

Thanks so much sublynx I have downloaded the combimod and will try to mod just the tools as you suggest - really appreciate the help.

I made two wheels for the game and a set to be printed and build an external one. The first ones never were a standalone mod, but were incorporated into other mods, like my GUI, Joegrundman's, etc, etc.

thanks Hitman - I might just go the route of getting a larger gui type mod that incorporates these tools - unfortunately I'm not able to get just the tools from the combimod and cannot install the combimod without getting a switch from English to German. Someone more knowledgeable about modding and sh3 may be able to but not me!

Anyway I do appreciate your replies hitman and sublynx - cheers.

UPDATE: I have found the U-Jagd tools in the following excellent sh3 mod resources collection avaulable from the first post in the following thread - a very useful link for many people here I would think.
