20mm deck placed aa gun

hello, i noticed in the sh4 intro that some of the subs (or the sub, i dont know) have a 20 mm behind the coning tower, at stern. I dont know wich sub was, it had the latest coning tower for the old subs. and those metal bars at stern, so it could be a Gar, Tambor or Sargo. My question is if this is possible, i havent been late in the war with one of the old ones. so i dont know what upgrades exist for them. Can i get a 3rd aa gun?

I know TMO has a deck mounted 20mm later in the war. Kinda nice to have 2 x 20mm, and 1 x 40mm AA guns loaded up.

Mine has two 6" guns one 40mm gun and one double 20mm turret :)

A turret is an enclosed, powered gun position. Your guns, even the 6" guns, are called "mounts".

CptLoonee, is that the famous Narwhal ?? you can sink the few escorts in a convoy with torps, and then surface and sink the whole convoy with those monsters hahaha :arrgh!::arrgh!:

Mine is the USS Nautilus, but yes. It is the second of the Narwhal class.

It's a hog when it comes to maneuvering, and it is slow and highly fuel inefficient, but she packs a punch with that firepower. If there are three or fewer destroyers, I feel confident engaging in a surface attack, especially at night. My guns hit harder than theirs and the sub is harder to hit.

I am doing a Guadalcanal tour right now and am just sailing with the US fleet. I am like another destroyer in that group!

I am not sure if it is available now. I got it long ago when it was released as the first and only mod I have seen that was downloadable with a donation. It was worth it.

I believe it is available in campaign mode with the Run Silent Run Deep Campaign Mod.

How would you feel if on Christmas (or any equivalent: holiday, birthday, etc.), you knew exactly what you were getting? Where's the surprise in that?
Oh well, anyway, if you're playing the Stock Version (or even RFB-I think), you'll never get more than two AA gun mounts. TMO has a third deck-mounted AA gun that you cannot control, but the AI handles it.

Ok, thats right :up:. But its very hard for me not to accept the balao or gato,
im very tempted by their great amount of fuel, at 10 knts i can last for weeks in the patrol zones,

SH IV Gold actually doesnt exist in any local stores of my city, I found one at the argentinian E-Bay (Mercado Libre), but the user sells it at the equivalent of more or less 100 dolars:nope:. So, im stuck and my choices are few.:wah:
