How does a U-boat refuel at sea, it is Oct. 1941 game date. Can you refuel at a friendly port, like in SH4 or do you just have to return to port before you run out?

How does a U-boat refuel at sea, it is Oct. 1941 game date. Can you refuel at a friendly port, like in SH4 or do you just have to return to port before you run out?

Go to your Nav map and press F1
Then click on resupply info.
You will find which supply ship or Milch Kuh is nearest to your position.
Docking to a resupply ship or Milch Kuh will end your patrol.
To avoid this from happening you must use the h.sie realism add-on which allows you to pseudo-dock take 3 torps and 30% fuel and continue your patrol. (Correct me if I am wrong)

I don't think you can supply in a neutral or friendly port unless it is a Kriegsmarine base. (Not sure on that)
