So i noticed some things are out of order, maybe someone can help?
1 my map does not give names but only A,B,C,... and 1 2 3
2 my crew does not cheer when a ship is sunk, its more like "yes sir a hit"
3 some graphics are different, like when using the attack periscope some colors are of.
4 i cannot find where i can see the name of the ship and what crew survived of the ships i sunk
i have SHIII 1.4 vanilla
and i saw these differences on videos on YT , different video authors had the same differences then my version
so i wonder?
thanks guys

1.The map is a Kriegsmarine Gridmap. BF17. AM32. Things like that. Should still have names like NordSee. Der Kanal. Etc.
2. The crew cheering is in the Grey Wolves Mod. 3.0 Gold is the current version.
3. Again, probably mod difference vs. stock game.
4. That is a feature from SHIII Commander. Current version 3.2

You're most welcome. And welcome aboard subsim.com by the way, skipper. :) Your savegame files are in your my documents, sh3 folder. Not sure which one from there though. But yeah, you might try a reinstall and see if that doesn't fix your map issue. Also, if you are running windows 7 64 bit, create a standalone Ubisoft folder outside of program files x86. Just a folder location for example C:\Ubisoft and install to that folder. Microsoft from how I understood the discussion has certain locks and privileges on the program files folder that may block your game from accessing necessary files. If that makes any sense. Hope all this helps you, good sir.

Might also run a defrag after you install. Its always a good idea to defrag after a large install.
