Hello my Fellow Submariners,

I have been wondering, have there or is there a mod which has interiors for the diffferent types of Submarines? e.g like the Los Angeles class Submarine, or Ohio class, skip jack Class, etc. I was just wondering. ? oh and another question I have, is I am currently playing in the Career campaign, and I wanted know what is the best tactic or maneuver in taking out an enemy convoy or task force???.

Im useless on interiors, but for the manuever, it depends on what you're using. Ill assume you're using manual, as auto can pretty much be used as run and gun. With manual, your best bet is to tail the convoy with radar and figure out their speed, then move into a perpendicular angle on them or slightly in front. If you can, slip into the convoy around the destroyer escort if it has one, otherwise take your shots whenever you want. If it has one or two destroyers as escort, you may be able to eliminate or incapacitate them and as the convoy moves away, surface and make use of your deck gun as well.

After you have fired enough torpedos to satisfy yourself, you'll probably want to run silent and get down under 250 feet or so to avoid any destroyers in the area if you havent killed them.

Well, I am currently Commanding a Los Angeles Class nuclear attack Submarine. USS Greenville SSN-688i. And as you already know, those submarines are not equipped with deck guns because they dont need them due to their formidable ability to engage a target without Surfacing. Should I use the same tactic as you stated in your previous reply to take out an enemy Convoy, or task force???.

If you are using a Los Angeles sub.... with one nuke torpedo you ll probably do just fine haha. Or just get away 100 miles away and fire Tomahawks

Not to my knowledge has an interior been made for the modern boats. That is a lot of work. One guy, in his spare time, could take a year or more. A team, of 4 or more, maybe 3 to 4 months to build it from scratch, if they are experienced moddlers.

Just a lot of detail in the control room, and then all the active screens, and all make it a tough job, especially for a freebie add-on.

Maybe check into Dangerous Waters for modern boats.
