Not suprising really, especially as the west kept him at arms length after the initial trouble commenced.....I doubt he had many friends near the end.


An Egyptian court has sentenced ex-President Hosni Mubarak to life in prison for complicity in the killing of protesters during last year's uprising.
The 84-year-old is the first former leader to be tried in person since the start of the Arab Spring in early 2011.

And isn't it strange that soon as he gets sentenced he becomes mystery becomes ill. :arrgh!:

I don't think anyone in Egypt was particularly surprised about Mubarak getting jailed.

The aquittal of the others though... :hmmm:

Prepare for the national backlash should he win his appeal...I doubt it though.
