Taking screenshots in Silent Hunter 5

I have been taking screenshots using Ctrl + F11 but the pictures saved in the root SH5 folder are all corrupt .bmp files. Is there a fix for this?

Corrupt bmp. Corrupt in what way?
The shots are supposed to be bmp's of course but, they should be able to open in most media programs.
Anyhow, could you describe what kind of corruption you are getting? We might be able to determine if it's the game or the computer doing the deed. :hmmm:

I had same problem on SHIV v1.4. Try to change resolution in game settings. In my case on 1366:768 bmp files was corrupted, 1280:720 - all is well.

You can download a screen capture program off the internet that will work much better. Gimp is one and free. I use FSScreen , but can't find the link for it.

IrfanView is free. Pick one for the OS you are using.
