At A Loss over SH5 matter

Could someone tell me please what BRG or Scope BRG or True BRG I just cannot remember what it means it is located at the top of your Map screen ?

Also were can I find the Km convertion to Sea Miles I used to have it but in moveing things about it has vanished so need to reinstall but cannot find location.

BRG = bearing.
If you are using The Dark Wraiths GUI, then you move the mouse over the chart icon (clip board) on the right of the screen and it should say 'show charts'. Click on it and the charts' tabs appear on the top left hand side of the screen. You can then pull out the chart you need.

BRG is the difference between a line from your sub towards north and a line from your sub to a point such as your target or a point on shore for example.

SCOPE BRG is what you will read on the index on the upper part of your scope glass when you have pointed your scope at a target or a point on shore.

TRUE BRG is magnetic bearing corrected for magnetic variation.

..........will take you to a MOD which will convert all your map, both NAV and TAI, measurments from kilometers to sea miles. Sea miles are what the Kriegsmarine actually used for navigation on U-boats. Read the instructions carefully. The installation is a slight bit different than the normal MOD.
