I saw it on the front page of The Sun but took no notice of that Tory toilet paper, so waited while I got home from the pub and saw it on sky news.

That's what gets me. Who is feeding her and why don't they exercise some control over the feeding?

Yeah. Mind you, it's impressive in a sick way. Must be nice to have a hobby, though.

63 stone is nothing

I've personally had to move a guy out of the house at 85 stone. Mind you it took 12 of us to pick him up

Hold up! Which one is more Tory? The Sun or SkyNews?:O:

When I first read the title of this I thought maybe you'd gotten on the scales. :O:

The Sun of course as its 100% murdoch mouthpiece, Rupert had a bit of a problem over publicity concerning the Tory politicians who were "impartially" helping him with his attempt at a full takeover of Sky so it remains for now as not 100% murdoch mouthpiece.

It may be a public company but with 40% owned by Murdoch and most of the rest with institutional investors, not many of whom are likely to be greenies, pinkos or screaming liberals now are they?

Old British weight measurement. One stone = 14 pounds, so 63 stone is 882 pounds.

Bossmark weighs 161 pounds.

A Stone is an old imperial weight measurement - 1 stone = 14 pounds or around 6.35 kilos - so she's 880ish pounds or 400 kilos:o

Yup, guy weighed in at 1200 lbs, 85 stone, 540 kg, or 7.5 bossmarks.

I watched a show about obese people and one fella's niece had laid out on a big table what this guy would eat in a day. I guess the idea was to shock and/or shame him out of his outrageous eating habits. Huge miss on her part. They show him this table and he promptly dives in. Tell you, a pretty gross sight watching him stuff his face. Now this was what he usually eats in a day and he's trying to chow it all down in one sitting. Finally realized it was too much and he sure looked disappointed with himself for not being up to the challenge. I don't know how much it cost per day to feed this guy but it's certainly more then I could afford working 6 days a week at a pretty decent wage.

I personally know of patients around that weight. Only handled one myself though. I wold think HIPPAA would prevent total reporting of these stats too.

Its called a people mover. It's a large tarp with reinforced straps and handles. Most have reinforced skids on the bottom, just thicker plastic pieces, to slide down stairs and such. Took 12 of us to move that one. You always pity the person pulling from the bottom if they get loose on the stairs.

One 700 lb guy I picked up once out of a trailer, he couldnt fit down the hallway, so we had to cut the end of the the trailer off, reach in with the ladder off the fire truck and use that like a crane.

Another patient was a frequent flyer of ours, she weighed about 600. The truck setup for bariatric work wasn't always available, so one day they send an older truck slated for retirement. Well, as we're rolls the cot into position, with her on it, the front wheels fell through the dy rotted floor. They sent the correct truck next time.
