Saw that earlier today, made me laugh. Also saw footage of another one doing almost exactly the same. The lesson is don't turn left in a Lamborghini. :haha:

What makes it so funny to me is the fact that most people buy such an expensive ride to get noticed by others but all they did was drop some cash for it.
I will always have respect for the person that drives a regular car that they and their friends built and fixed up themselves such a machine is one to be proud
of and I willing to bet that those cars do not get wrecked nearly as often as a Lambo does.I have a very nice Datsun240Z that I did most of the work myself
on my dad was a real gear head and he loved Pontiacs and we worked on many over the years how many people that own an exotic car can even work on it
mechanically maybe a handful.

I'm a German, so I crave the concept of Schadenfreude...:D
Would have been even funnier if the event happened in the hood, and some slightly peed off OGs would teach him a little driving lesson...

Yeah, this can't get into my head: Pay 6 figures for a sports car and to cheap to pay some hundreds for some professional driving training on a track. "Oh no, rich daddy's boy don't need that!" - every yuppie can drive like a god by nature...

It's often the same with other status symbols - pretty awesome technology used by people who are to dumb to tie their laces. If I bought myself a Rolex, I would want to know what every single wheel inside does - then learn how these mysterious shoe laces work ;)

From I have seen on Top Gear (the British one not the crap American one) most of these high end cars have a computer that controls the transmission to a much larger extent then a normal modern vehicle and they have a "launch" mode that truly gives you all the power to the wheels.

I think most Lambos are also all wheel drive and have a balanced set up that you can adjust my guess is that the driver had the all-wheel drive on a more aggressive mode and he gave it too much power on that turn and lost control which of course if he knew how to drive the thing he'd never have made that mistake or driven like that on a public road in the first place.

Clearly he must be one of the Stig's less gifted cousins.

One thing for sure the other drivers are in luck as the Lambo driver likely has a good insurance policy.

Lamborghini 'Gallardo'. 0 to 60 mph 3.9 seconds. If STIGs less gifted cousin could afford a Lambo he probably paid the extra for the six speed electro-hydraulic transmission. Not a good idea for inexperienced idiots.

Looks like he was revving his engine while stopped at a red light. What a prick. :shifty:

Meh, if they can afford a Lambo, chances are they can afford another one. :haha:

Sad thing is, a perfectly good Mercury Grand Marquis got dented. :x
