Any of you sub mariners had any trouble with the hydrophones in SHIII after the up dates , mine does not work ,if so how do yer fix em ?

Welcome aboard.
There should be no problem if you installed the correct 1.4b patch. I would re-download the patch and reinstall it
You should also know that some of the newer SHIII discs are already patched.

Sometimes it is as simple as working the volume control.
Tap the large knob on the right side of the wheel once or twice.

ya I usualy have that problem, I will have to try clicking it, I always just tried to use it as a dial... stupid me.

If one assigns a keyboard shortcut to the hydrophone, tapping the key will show that the volume has several selectable points. This makes the volume easy to adjust to an acceptable level.
Going back to the original question, the patch will not disable the hydrophone nor the volume.

thanks shipmate,I tweeked the volume an it works ,no need to re-install

I,ve just returned to Kiel for a refit with only 28% hull integrity,they,ve re-armed me but have failed to repair the hull damage , any Wolves had the same problem? this is on SH V game.
