Q on Deck Gun, and Visible Damage

Guys,

At some stage I've placed my deck gunner in to the aft torpedoe room and now the slot he normally fills is gone.
How do I get him back ?

Also I've noticed that sometimes I get good graphics with the damage my fish do and other times nothing at all.
What gives ?

1) Sounds like you got a new deck gun and the game bugged it so you dont get one. Try reloading before you got the new deck gun, put it back on and if the slot is gone then theres not much you can do but buy a differnt position, or just keep whatever you have.

2) Somtimes stuff just doesnt cause any visable damage, but dont worry the ship still will be hurtin'. Also, theres a max of 5 "holes" in any one ship. After that no more will appear sadly. Dont know WHY thats there, but as far as I know not much can be done.
