Two British servicemen have been shot dead in southern Afghanistan by members of the Afghan national police force, the Ministry of Defence has said.

It does make you wonder though, how busy can Rahmani have been as Taliban minister of education?
Surely his entire workload was completed one morning while he was waiting to drink a cup of tea.

I've probably stated this on another thread previously but surely Karzai has his exit strategy and safe haven already arranged. I can't see him or his government lasting very long at all when the troops leave.

I have to agree. He's supposed to be attending the upcoming NATO summit in Chicago to ask for more money to prop up his regime but I don't think even that will help delay the axe falling for very long.

The other day, i saw this video on youtube that a US trooper made. Guy is pretty talented, and there's A LOT being said in between the lines. I imagine 50 or a 100 years hence, its songs like the one this guy made that history buffs will be reading about on websites like we find WW2 poetry today.


I'm not into rap, but this was worth watching, and as i said, the guy is talented.
