Can the download for SH 3 from Ubisoft ( no Starforce ) be modded, for example, with GWX 3.0 on a Windows 7 OS?

As far as I know all versions can be modded. There may be a slightly different way to do it with the downloaded versions. Somebody with more knowledge than I will be along shortly to confirm (or deny!). :salute:

I purchased my copy from Direct-2-Drive a couple of years ago and had zero issues.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/images/icons/icon9.gif Just did a search on direct to drive now run by Gamefly and SH3 is not in the list of available games. SH 4 and 5 are.

Is it the downloaded version from Ubisoft because my old purchased version patched to 1.4 will not run on my machine. All explained in my previous post "Sh3 not loading".
