Anybody gotten into the Alpha yet? I was sort of debating on it, looks alot like gal civ, and civ. I would jump on it right now but Crusader Kings has me spoiled.

I've only played 30 min or so. So far the interface is clean and simple, and there are a lot of research to do.

Oh right, this thing is released proper btw, week ago or so? Was good fun in beta, looking forward to play more of it in MP.

This game, is pretty polished, way better then some of the other 4X's released in the last few years, SotS2 I'm looking at you.

Haven't really played and gotten into a space 4X game since Stars!, and that was an eternity ago. Will definitely try this.

Wonderful clean UI, tooltips everywhere, clear & understandable techs, a unique battle system... loving this :D

I think the game's generating a bit of user-controversy, lol. A lot of people really disagree with one aspect or another, seems to be quite polarised. Great game though!

Actually while I think about it, the PlaySF crew have scheduled an open multiplayer game of ES for this coming Saturday (21st) at 3pm.

We'll use Steam voice etc and there'll probably be a write-up AAR on the site - any & all welcome to join! The game will likely last a fair way into the evening though, so make sure you've got plenty of time :up:

Which forums are you refering to, Steam or the official site at Amplitude. I'm a member out at Amplitude's offical site and it seems a pretty friendly comunity to me. Everyone seems to share and respect each others ideas as far as I can see. I've proposed a Honorverse like mod, and so far the modding comunity seems like a knowlegable and supportive group.
