some sound (speech) issues

I recently re-loaded SH4 and am having some problems with the speech files. For example, if I hit the key to man the deck gun, I get "yes sir" three times, nothing about manning the deck gun. I also noticed that a huge number of the speech files never get played. Is there a fix for this?

I think the fault is Alt-Tabbing because i had similar issues, sometimes my crew even died on a patrol because they run out of oxygen.

I have reworked my sound files that I don't remember stock files, but I don't recall speech that says "man the guns", but I could be wrong.

They're several sound mods that rework sounds, try searching that or look in the mods DL section.

Just checked the Sound Folder, and in the Speech Folder in there, I did a word search and came up with 9 .ogg soundfiles that are:

WaO_P_Man_the_deck_gun.ogg

Why would there be 9? I don't know, unless there are 9 different voice recordings of the phrase.
