I have so much respect for this man.

A Cherry Hill father has taken to the web to combat abusive behavior he says teachers displayed toward his autistic son.

Stuart Chaifetz, in a video posted to YouTube on Friday, said that he was told by school officials his son Akian, 10, had been hitting staff at Horace Mann Elementary School. He said Akian is a gentle child, and would not get violent without being provoked.

So he sent Akian to school wearing a recording device, and said what he heard on the tape later that night changed his life.

...

"It's not about money, it's about dignity," Chaifetz said in the video. "This is to reclaim my son's dignity. You owe it to him."

He stated he didn't want to sue.

He wants these women to put their own names out there, he even rafrained from using the last names.

This is Cherry Hill. nj. Home of the NJEA, which is a teachers union who is responsible for Jerseyans paying some of the highest property tax in the nation.

Chris Christie (R) who my liberal self voted for and loves has been trying to fight this, while getting killed as anti-union.

I am in a union, A private union, who in the last 3 contract negotiations, has given back.

Not the NJEA though, they always take more, after all it is not a private company that pays the bills (like my union), but the taxpayer, who always has infinite money in NJ.

I feel for this man, you can see the anger, and at some points utter sadness on his face.

No one deserves the treatment this child got. Especially not an autistic child. Shame, on the NJEA for protecting the teacher.

edit: I bet your state has a teachers union too, wait until they start squeezing you for exorbant raises, while everyone elses wages stagnate.
Wait until your property taxes go up year after year.

I do not even have a kid in school, yet pay out my backside in taxes.
