Hello All , I am having a time trying to find my screenshots!:damn: I have looked in the main folder , but don't know what the file would be called , and there is only 1 bitmap file in another folder ...other than that , I have no idea what folder in SH3 it would be under.. I am running window 7 also....any one have this problem too??:damn::damn::damn:

They are in the root SH3 folder by default, the format you are looking for is SH3Img@[date/timestamp].BMP

Are you using Shift+F11 to capture? Print screen doesn't work. And Win7 is no problem, I run it also and have never had an issue

yeah , I used the shift + f 11 , and the screen pauses , so I know it took the shot , I just don't see the file in the main folder ... hmm I will look for the time stamp . thanks will look now:hmmm:

actually the menu says to hit ctrl +F11 , I tried the shift +F11 and the game started freezing , but no luck in the first folder of SH3 ..I guess something happened when I loaded it ..to bad though:damn: . I had since lost the disc after my most recent move ...the game came in the 2 pack bundle and all I have left is silent hunter 2 , don't want to play that ...well I will have to play without keeping screenshots of the game  Thank you for your time .

The reason for the freezing is that Shift+F11 starts the movie mode, which doesn't work. The screen freezes because the game is taking several screenshots every second.

Control+F11 will take screenshots, and you'll find them in the main SH3 folder. Which folder did you look in?

I looked in the main folder , also in the data folder , most of the other folders , no luck . I recently pressed the control +F11 and that works , but still no file :nope:. I just got the program Fraps , so I will be able to screenshots that way. wish me luck.

Thank you everyone for the help! Really feels good to know I have a fleet of fellow gamers behind me
