it was just a coypu. an immigrant species of large, but harmless, river rat.

the guy did not bravely save us from the giant balrog rat of hell. he unprovokedly killed a coypu that was going about its daily business.

I'm not especially bothered by that, but I am surprised that it has become an international issue and that the bloke thinks he's some kind of hero.

I thought they had finally killed them all in Britain a couple of years ago because of the harm they do.
