it was just a coypu. an immigrant species of large, but harmless, river rat.

the guy did not bravely save us from the giant balrog rat of hell. he unprovokedly killed a coypu that was going about its daily business.

I'm not especially bothered by that, but I am surprised that it has become an international issue and that the bloke thinks he's some kind of hero.

I thought they had finally killed them all in Britain a couple of years ago because of the harm they do.

If it was one then wouldn't your nation still be under the policy of killing them whenever they are going about their daily business?
