I think it was Kansas or Oklahoma that caught the worst of it last night. 5 dead. :cry:

We had a tornado watch in effect here until midnight. Thankfully nothing more than horizontal rain on this end of town. :haha: Part of West Des Moines took some bad wind damage, though. We had gusts in excess of 60mph all night. Took a roof off a building and broke some windows from what I hear:

I heard a joke awhile back and I don't remember exactly how it goes; something like:

Why does the wind blow north in Missouri? Because Iowa sucks. :O:

I've been down to KC, a few years back. Didn't get to see much there besides the inside of a Home Depot. :haha:
