Any baseball fans here? I started watching the games last summer and got sucked in. The Cubs and Whitesox are "my teams" due to their proximity.
So, which is your favorite team? :ping:

I just bought a Twins hat yesterday. I'm going to attempt to get back into baseball. Ever since I moved to Ore-gone, I kinda forgot abot pro-baseball. Thinking about going to a Mariners game, though.:hmmm:
I'm still stuck in early 90's baseball with #34 Kirby Puckett.:rock:
San Francisco Giants, from the day they came to town to today... :yeah:
(Before that, it was the San Francisco Seals (Minor League), my grandfather's favorite team. They had one of those great old wooden stadiums you only see now in old movies...)

Blue Jays of course. Looking good to, but playing in AL east is tough.

Yankees!
Not expecting anything better than playoffs though, unless we get some pitching out of Hughes, and Ivan Nova can continue his huge sucess from last year.
Pitching wins trophies, and the Yanks really lost sight of that since the old "super dynasty" teams of the late 90s
There are so many other teams with better pitching and less age. Tampa and Detroit come to mind.
I also have a bet with a loudmouth super Mets fan at work that the Orioles will fare better than the Mets this year.
Easy money.:yeah:
Ucrank, Jays won't be bad. The Boston Red Sox are being coached by the Rex Reed of Baseball (someone tell Valentine to concentrate on the team he is playing, not smashing the Yankees, he hated them as a Met Manager too, never shut up about the Yankees). And the Yankees are not the team of the past.
Long season.

I'm hoping to watch at least a few games this season. Last season was pretty much my first time watching baseball and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Some plays go really well, and most games I watched seemed to drag on until the last two or three innings. Always seems like the last half of the game is the most exciting to me.

I'll be there in August to catch a game while on my trip through the US. I'm a Red Sox fan.

One of the games during their home stand between the 3rd of August and the 8th. So it'll be a match vs the Minnesota Twins or Texas Rangers. Both teams are in town during the length of my stay there. And what better way to kill a summer evening in the US? Beer, pretzels and baseball.

Buy your tickets early, as this season they'll sell out most of the games. If you like sausagehttp://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR71ZoHXSnHD2AB26ZiNuP2PiUpzi3Ju C7VM1icynoBeLzG_FrG, buy one of the Italian sausages outside the ballbark from the vendors on Lonsdale(sp?) St. They're $8 and worth every penny. I really liked the in ballpark food vendors too.:D
You'll have a great time.:up::yep:
