View Full Version : Muhammad cartoon revenge plot trial opens in Denmark
Four men accused of planning an attack on a Danish newspaper that printed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad have gone on trial in Denmark.
Three Swedish citizens and a Tunisian are accused of terrorism and illegal possession of weapons.
The four men, detained in December 2010 in Denmark and Sweden, pleaded not guilty through their lawyers.
Jyllands-Posten published the cartoons of Islam's holiest figure in 2005, sparking riots in Muslim countries.
Munir Awad, Omar Abdallah Aboelazm and Munir Ben Mohamed Dhahri, a Tunisian citizen, were picked up by police in December 2010 at a flat near the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
Sabhi Ben Mohamed Zalouti was arrested a day later after crossing back into Sweden, then extradited back to Denmark.
They could face between 14 and 16 years in prison if convicted at the trial in the Glostrup district court, just outside the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
Embassies attacked.
A machine-gun with a silencer, a revolver and 108 bullets and reams of duct tape were among items found in the men's possession when they were arrested.
Prosecutors say they intended to cause havoc and kill as many people as possible in an attack similar to that in Mumbai, India in 2008. Swedish and Danish intelligence officials say they tracked the men for a number of months.
Denmark remains a target for Islamist militants more than six years after the cartoons appeared.

Hopefully long terrorist punishment!
Three Swedish citizens
One can hope that these 3 Swedish "citizens" of a particular kind lose this Swedish citizenship.
They don't have any place in this country or in Europe, where the freedom of the press, the respect of the law, and the democracy have a significance and a reality.

Teh salafists are under observations by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and are seens as extremly hostile the constitutional order of Germany, and an extreme radical group. The leading figure is a known hate preacher, his German right hand, a convert, is not anything less. The m issionise in front of schools and made it their goal to bring 25 million Korans into German households, so in principle into almost every household there is in Germany. The copies they give away for free (bypassing laws that prohibit them to do so) are extremely glossed over, and lack passages and formulations that could raise the infidels suspicion, in other words they are forged to deceive the intended receivers.
Every Islamic terrorist group that has been monitored and taken out in Germany saince 9/11 (and nthere were qzuite somew), had links to the salfists.
When a week ago journalists started to report about the Salafists' propaganda coup, they were not only verbally attacked, but threatened with murder, while videos were popsted that gave intimate details on the journalists, calling them pigs, warning them to continue, and giving their personal data needed to find and target them: names and adresses .
Several German media allowed to get intimidated, silenced themselves and since then sit put and ignore the story unfolding.
The intelligence agencies keep on warning. Most politicians however already have started to play it all down.
"If the tolerant tolerate the intolerant, than the intolerant will overcome and destroy the tolerant, and tolerance alongside with them."
The salafi movement has a bloosoming afflux in Germany.
The speaker of the biggest Muslim organisation in Germany distanced himself from the action. Not because of the goals of the salafis, but just because he sees a chance that some of the Qurans will end in waste bins when distributed so profanely. And that would be an affront to Allah. The extremely radical orientation of the Salafists and their ties to terrorism he did not mention, nor their intention to build a Sharia-basing Caliphate in Germany.

So you do not plan for holidays in Malmö? :D
In Germany, we have a new lingual distortion, that in recent days has become apparent once again several times: these mysterious "men", coming from "families". They have no names, no looks and no biographic backgrounds, they just fall down from the sky, completely featureless and without any identity. There were several news on criminal events in the past couple of weeks: street fightings, two families clubbing each other with baseball bats (actually it were no families as we think of the term but family clans with dozens and dozens of members), some bloke torturing his girlfriend, an attempted killing of a daughter. The talk always was of "men", without any further details given on their identity, background, looks, or whatever.
Some weeks ago the police again asked for help to find a witness or suspect: and did not give a description of what he looked like, but asked for who saw a "man" walking away from the crowd at that and that time. Language like this especially often can be witnessed in the area around Cologne, it seems. You know, the place where they want to build a mosque bigger than the Cologne cathedral, if they get the funding. Well, some rich "men" from a not further described "area" of the non-German "world" will make sure the cash will flow, I assume.
Well, one learns to read between the lines, but I doubt the police is successful this way, and me, when reading such unvoluntary hilarious nonsense, can just conclude that I live in a country populated by sheep. Well, I assume that counts as something better than to live amongst pigs and dogs, eh?

So was that a funeral or a big fat wedding?
