Aircraft patrols

Hi. Would any of you explain why the aircraft on patrol don't seem to be interested in the sub if on the surface. If this is a bug with stock steam download version of the game is there a mod to correct it? :)

Look for my IRAI mod in the SH5 MODS forum. You'll probably wish you never installed it though as it totally revamps the AI.
