Any Mod available that will put you in command of an Italian Submarine in the Mediterranean?
Or a Mod that adds lots more Italian units with .mis files?
Some Italian AI units in game with Mediterranean add on.
Only one Italian plane the Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero.

I remember one of he best expeeiences i had was in the med using nygm mod. After a pretty empty patrol i heard some screws of a small convoy through the hydrophones. I ran im to intercept only to see it was a convoy of italian merchants escorted by 2 german destroyers! Yay friendlies!! looked like they were headed back to italian ports so i joimed them for a safer return trip. Well after an hour or so 2 brit aircraft came screaming out of the sky firing at the transports. A small battle ensued and i brought my gunners to help the convoy. the dam brits hit both merchants but sank 1 with no loss to aircraft.. followed them a little while longer but then lost them in a storm. That was ton of fun.

Never heard of a mod with italiam subs.

However no Regia Aeronautica planes. I would like to see the Macchi C.202 Folgore or the CANT Z.501 in game.
A lot of great Italian Mods for Flight Simulators.
Italy always seems to get sidelined by WW2 Game Developers.
I think SH3 would be a great platform for a Regia Marina Sommergibile mod. :yeah:

The Italian site you linked is a mod using Italian language - using many community ships and some not :rotfl2:

GWX again AFAIK is the only mod that has an Italian sub in it - the 600 class

Yes I always see the Italian Adua-class submarine when leaving La Spezia to go on patrol.I was just wondering if any of the community knew
of extra AI controlled Italian Subs/Planes that were available for the game.
That site did have a nice Regia Marina officers hat .

Unluckily nothing has been done in this direction.

I wonder if some modders could hammer out an AI playable version of the Adua; but as far as now no one did that.

I'd be the first to ditch my VIIb for a Regio Sommergibile...
