Spiel Unterbrochen

Today I installed GWX 3.o for SH3. When playing i get the message "spiel unterbrochen". I can't get the game working. Can anyone help?

Windows 7, 32 bit.

GWX 3.0

I take it you installed SH3 OUTSIDE the program files folder ??

Check the Main.cfg in the SH3 ( Documents\SH3\data\cfg ) folder in your document

Check that the time compression section is there

I installed SH3 and later GWX 3.0 in: Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent HunterIII\



I take it you installed SH3 OUTSIDE the program files folder ??

Check the Main.cfg in the SH3 ( Documents\SH3\data\cfg ) folder in your document

Looks like you will have to uninstall it all then

Never install SH3 in the Program Files folder in Vista or Windows 7

Install elsewhere ie C:/games

I inserted the [TIME COMPRESSION] lines in Main.cfg which was in My documnets. I started the game and the problem was fixed. Thank you very much: Jetzt gehts Los!
(I am Dutch by the way). I love SH3, Played SH4 and SH5 but returned to SH3, best ever!

Yes that will fix your current problem though after installing into the Program files folder you will no doubt have more
