I'm at Midway(14 dec.) and the weather conditions are ;clouds overcast, fog heavy.
Now (two weeks later)I am at Luzon straits and the weather conditions are still the same,( every minute heavy rain and heavy fog).
Is this normal in the game?

I think I'm the only one at the ocean,I have seen or heard nothing in those two weeks.

When you use time compression,is it possible that you missed something.

Are you playing with the stock version or a mod? The mods try to tamp Japanese merchant and warship movements down to a more realistic level, so you often go long periods without seeing anything. In stock, Japanese traffic tends to be everywhere.

I think thats a bug if your playing stock. If your playing stock, you should try the game fixes only mod. It does what the title says :D

thanks,I used ctrl-N and...... I have a clear horizon,no bad weather anymore.
Does it mean that I have to start all over again, because I misses something causes the heavy fog and rain?

Do I use ctrl-N all the time to get the right weather conditions:06:

Actually I never use ctrl+N. If the weather is "bad" I just go along with it. IIRC there was a post about overusing ctrl+N (???:06:).

I have had long periods where the weather seems stuck on lousy. I'm not sure why, but my theory is that if you are using TC there are fewer chances for the game to check for a weather change. The weather is not well modeled anyway. Since the max. wind possible is only 15 m/s, and can never be any more than this in the game, it will often seem to be "stuck".

As far as a lack of targets goes, I just use TC and wait patiently (or otherwise). The Japanese only had so many ships, and it was a big ocean. :03:
