Hi
Does anyone have a copy of the terrain editor around ?
Preferably the one released by Ref in the SH4 forum ? as that had a tutorial on how to alter the terrain not just repack already altered files as the current one hosted at subsim does
????

I only uploaded the docs, if it is the one you are reffering to it is a Beta and may be older than the others that were suggested in the SH3 thread. If you need to other files let me know.

Do you have the SH4 terrain editor itself?
I don't have a copy anymore.

I have the same file that Steve posted except it ts ver 0.2 and his is .21b and has the extractor and repacker. The doc I posted says he used photoshop to edit. So if there is an 'editor' I don't have it. Sorry.

It turns out I have the Terrain Extractor/Importer Ref made for GWX4. I'm not sure if that's the same thing.

Hmmmm well wouldnt hurt to up it somewhere so can take a look
Thanx Peabody will DL when get home from work and see if that is indeed the ones looking for  and there isnt really an editor - the extractor is used to extract a specific grid from within the .BFD raw file and then that is reworked in photoshop then repacked.
The photoshop element is quite detailed which is why need the tutorial
Thanx all in posting links etc - teach me to back up my files I guess
